So you want to know more about me? Well, you asked for it..........

I caught the photo bug at a young age in the late 80's. Yep, I'm an 80's child. I was hurt from a nasty gymnastics fall and was forced to give up band (I played the drums). I had only 2 choices of electives to choose from and I chose Photo over Drama. I jumped in immediately and absolutely loved it! Mainly shooting nature and portraits, our final forced us to go out of our comfort zone and go to a daycare center capturing kids at play. I had so much fun!! And that's when I really knew that I had found my passion - photography. I was the only one in my class that shot playground details and photographed the children getting dirty; as kids do. I was able to continue my passion in photography throughout my years in high school and college years, along with attending seminars and conventions for further teachings of the industry.

My friends and family members were getting married and having children and I seemed to get roped into shooting their events. I never considered turning my passion into a profession back then. I just absolutely loved photography and ultimately seeing my images that I took for them in frames on the walls of their homes.

I have lots of fun during my photo sessions with my clients, and it's that fun that also comes across in the photos that I capture for them. My absolute favorite event that I photographed was a family's first trip to Disneyland (on their son's 3rd birthday). I'm a secret Disney freak; I swear I had more fun that day than their son did. Speaking of Disneyland....like this pic of my son and I? It was taken during one of our many fun days at Disneyland.

Now for some fun stuff about me.....I'm a mother of a teenage boy who is taller than I, but he knows that I'm still BOSS. My favorite color is purple; any shade. I'm an 80's child and I still like to listen to the music and watch the movies from back in the day. I absolutely love rodeos; the excitement of it all is so contagious. I watch all the aspects of it from the roping to the barrels to the bull riding. My hobbies are cross-stitching and crocheting and right now I have about 4 projects of each in different stages. I love the Wii. My son and I have competitions all the time in bowling; it's the only game I can kick his butt in :) . I'm an animal lover; especially dogs. I'm not really a good cook but I make a mean spaghetti and meatballs.

I enjoy meeting each of my clientele on a personal basis to further understand their vision for their special event. I can't wait to hear from you!
